Agile working

Our team:
We have a diverse range of skills in our team, including front and back-end development, content design, user experience, and cloud architecture. Each skill is essential for achieving our project goals, and we emphasize collaborative teamwork to reach our objectives.
Agile working:
We've adopted an agile approach to manage this large-scale project. Agile allows us to be flexible, deliver results quickly, and continuously improve. While we're still refining our agile processes, we're making progress with the structures we've put in place.
What is agile working about?
Agile is a methodology where project teams deliver in small increments. Instead of planning everything upfront, we focus on delivering working parts of the project quickly, gather feedback, and make adjustments. For instance, we're migrating our website from one content management system to another, prioritizing our main council site. We're automating the process section by section to minimize errors.
How are we doing agile?
We hold daily stand-up meetings where everyone shares their progress, plans for the day, and any issues for troubleshooting as a group. We also have bi-weekly planning meetings to set goals for the next sprint, which is a two-week period. Tasks are assigned collaboratively, ensuring everyone's involvement.
At the end of each sprint, we conduct a "show and tell" session to showcase completed work and discuss achievements. We also review our performance and identify areas for improvement. We'll keep the website updated with our agile progress, so stay tuned for updates!
